The city's integrated control center is now equipped with AI technology to detect traffic congestion and potential disasters in real time, making it a model for other cities across Southeast Asia.
The system integrates more than 340 AI-powered cameras spread across the city, allowing officers to monitor traffic flow, air quality, and potential disasters from a single control room.
Going forward, the Bandung City Government plans to expand this sensor network to the outskirts of the city for more even monitoring coverage.
